The Cinema for Screening Patriotic Movies

The Alegria Cinema is more than an entertainment venue for the populace. It was once the place where Chinese patriotic movies were mainly screened in Macao. By then, many locals who are fond of patriotic movies, as well as those from Hong Kong, would make their way from near and afar to Alegria Cinema. The “White-Haired Girl” screened in 1952 had drawn loads of audience participation from Hong Kong.
