Ke Lin
Ke Lin, originally named Ke Huie, was an underground member of the Communist Party of China who started a business at the Senado Square in 1935. When Kiang Wu Hospital opted for directorship for its management in 1946, Ke became its first director. With the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, he organized and hosted the Celebration on the Founding of the People’s Republic of China held at the Apollo Cinema, during which he made public that he was a member of the Communist Party of China.In 1951, Ke Lin served as the Dean and Party Committee Secretary of the Zhongshan School of Medicine in Guangzhou. In 1962, he was elected as a member of the CCP Guangdong Provincial Committee. After the end of the Cultural Revolution, Ke Lin once again served as the Dean of the Zhongshan School of Medicine in 1980 at the age of 80.
