Kun Iam Small Temple

Located at the foot of Kun Iam Hill where the old University of Macau stands, the Kun Iam Small Temple began its construction in 1871. The towering banyan tree found at the far end of the Temple gives it an extraordinary touch of elegance. It is built in front of a huge rock with its shrine, actually a small stone cave, dedicated to Kun Iam. The body of the Temple, being somehow merged with the huge rock, creates a captivating landscape.
