IAM Building

IAM Building is known as “Senatorial Pavilion” in the old time. The façade of present building was constructed in 1874. By 1940, it went through repairs and enlargement to become what it is nowadays. It had once been the seat of the Municipal Council of Macao, where the Hip She Painting Association, founded by Gao Jianfu and Yang Shanshen, had held an exhibition on painting and calligraphy in 1941 to raise fund for refugee children.
