St. Dominic's Church

  The talented George Smirnoff, who was adept in composition and scene-capturing, was very much appreciated by the high officials of Macao by then. This explains why over 60 pieces of his works became the collectibles of the Macao government.

Detailed information
  The façade of the Church is mainly whitewashed in yellow with dark green shuttered square windows and white stucco moldings as ornamentation. The entrance on the side of the Church opens to a long corridor that leads to the Treasure of Sacred Art, a gallery located at the top level of the Church. It was opened to public on 23 November, 1997, with over 300 pieces of valuable religious artworks dating from the 17th to 19th centuries.
  Besides holding the Procession of Our Lady of Fatima during every 13th of May, the Church is one of the performing venues of the Macao International Music Festival.
