Seak Kam Dong Hang Toi Temple

The Seak Kam Dong Hang Toi Temple is evolved from a shrine where the residents of San Kio district venerated Seak Kam Dong, a tablet allegedly carved out of the stone from Taishan Mountain and is believed to have the divine power to ward off evil spirits. It also served as a public meeting venue for the residents of the district in the old days. The tablet of Seak Kam Dong used to be seated in a primitive shrine put up by the residents atop a rock located next to the Lin Kai Bridge. Time after time, the shrine was turned into a temple where Grand Duke Jiang and Lord Kuan are consecrated besides Seak Kam Dong.
